With reference to Embassy’s Press Release No. APV – 27 – 2009 dated 09 May 2009, the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Riyadh would like to inform all Filipino expatriates working and/or residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of the changes made in the month – long celebration of the 111th Anniversary of the Philippine Independence Day. Ambassador Antonio P. Villamor reiterates his invitation to all Filipinos to attend the following activities prepared for the commemoration of the Philippine Independence with the theme “Kagitingan, Kagalingan at Kasipagan Tungo sa Tunay na Kalayaan”:
